My name is Kimberly Gray-Campbell and I am just at the tender age of 24 hailing from Fort Lauderdale, FL. I've been clipping coupons since the age of 15 and savings $100's of dollars during this time. Since being married for two years now and going through the hard times of the recession my husband and I really had to go through weekly and decided what we really needed, what is the discount, how much are we saving etc. With me being the shopper in our small family it was my idea to fall back on what I knew growing up. Some people may think I am crazy to sit every Sunday and clip and have my husband organize our weekly coupon savings but when they see what we are saving they say it's better this way than to apply for food stamps. Recently I have hit the ground with FREEBIE'S and wow companies still do this I was even more excited because this allowed us to sample something before spending money that was already limited. Half the times the FREEBIE's were full size or nearly full size any ways so that made me even more happier going to the mail box and getting my gift for the day. I wanted to blog about my house hold and what we're going through in hopes that it may inspire another family to do the same. I am always one to be independent and felt that as long as I put God first he will lead the way where I didnt have to depend on the Government to take care of the "Gray-Campbell" house hold. Many families don't have the patient and I tell you right now please have the patient it could that $50 buck saving you needed for something else. I also encourage my stay at home moms or dads or working parents to also research how you can earn extra . I personally take part in online survey which pays me anywhere from .50 cents to $30 per survey. I take part in Upromise which pays back my student loans, I have a portion going towards my saving accounts earning me 1.10% APY with no min balance needed or I have a portion sent directly to me.
